Cisco Networking Academy

  • Cisco is a non-profit organization in the USA which offers computer and networking courses to students all over the world. It was established in 1997 and the enrolment has reached 4 million students in 165 countries.
  • In Zimbabwe there are only 4 active Cisco Networking Academies. St Georges College is one of them and is the only school so far offering Cisco courses in the whole country. All Cisco Modules include embedded, highly interactive e-doing activities that stimulate learning and improve knowledge retention, hands-on labs, simulation-based learning activities, and online assessments and the course is recognized internationally.
  •  The students are exempted from some courses at universities if they want to pursue a degree in Networking.
  •  In partnership with schools and organizations around the world, the Cisco Networking Academy program delivers a comprehensive learning experience to help students develop information and communication technology (ICT) skills for entry-level career opportunities, continuing education, and globally-recognized career certifications.
