If you receive an acceptance letter, all that is left is for you to collect your son’s/daughter’s:

Lower 6 Service Projects’ Programme
Every student wishing to proceed into Lower 6 (Year 12) at St George’s College is required to participate in the Service Projects’ Programme (community service), while awaiting his/her IGCSE results in early January. Students are required to offer their service to underprivileged communities, and are expected to work at their Agencies for three weeks of Term 1, before they start school. This is why the academic calendar for Lower 6’s starts slightly later than most schools.
During Lent, the Lower 6 students conduct various fundraising initiatives in support of their Service Project Agency, in collaboration with a school class. Agencies include: old age homes, children’s homes, schools for the economically disadvantaged, institutions for persons with mental and physical disabilities where the students undertake their community service.
Since the school calendar for 2022 has not yet been published, the proposed dates for Service Projects are: Wednesday 12th January 2022 to Thursday 3rd February 2022.
To gauge a feel of Service Projects, feel free to view the following videos of St George’s students who have been part of the programme:
