For an all-round development of a child, the St George's College curriculum includes sports. A sufficient amount of school time is devoted to sports.

St. George’s College Rugby 1st XV failed to maintain their unbeaten run after losing to Churchill High 26-17 at a game played at Churchill. After being the first to score a converted try, the Dragons were down 19-10 at half-time. They managed to score another try just before the referee blew the final whistle.
