Peter finished 4th in the M1x Heat race this morning, making him have to compete in the Repecharge race, which will take place tomorrow (08:50 am in Tokyo and 01:50 am CAT). Throughout the race, Peter started quickly and held onto third place, however in the final 500m stretch, he was beaten by 0.64 seconds. Should he finish in the top 2 of the upcoming Repecharge race, he will progress into the Quarter Finals.
