For an all-round development of a child, the St George's College curriculum includes sports. A sufficient amount of school time is devoted to sports.
We offer a diverse cultural programme which provides students the opportunity to develop skills needed in a changing world, and to learn the value of doing everything for the Greater Glory of God.

Terms Cricket is played: 1st and 3rd Term
St George’s College has four representative age groups U14, U15, U16, and Seniors with 1st and 2nd Teams. In the junior teams we have As and Bs each team consisting of 12 players. The school is in the “A” league along with other schools such as: Falcon ,Peterhouse Boys, Hellenic Academy, St John’s College along with many more.
The College is committed to make sure all cricket players develop to their full potential through special coaching programmes by the coaching staff and support of the College Cricket Committee. Cricketers are expected to attend all training sessions and given a chance to showcase their talent against other school and to exhibit the highest level of sportsmanship and integrity. The School mainly compete in 50over matches and T20 version. St George’s annually host the Cabs Sponsored T20 annually which is a big tournament in Southern Africa. In this tournament some of the top schools in SA such as St Andrew’s, St Benedicts and St John’s Joburg attend the tournament while our top school in Zimbabwe such as St John’s, Falcon, Peterhouse also take part. Through the very supportive cricket community of the College, over the years, Saints has proudly produced cricket players who have proudly represented Mashonaland Province and Zimbabwe at national level as well as internationally, once leaving the College to pursue tertiary education.
