For an all-round development of a child, the St George's College curriculum includes sports. A sufficient amount of school time is devoted to sports.
We offer a diverse cultural programme which provides students the opportunity to develop skills needed in a changing world, and to learn the value of doing everything for the Greater Glory of God.

Terms Hockey is played: 1st and 2nd Term
St George’s College has four representative age groups U14, U15, U16, Boys Senior Teams and Girls 1stTeam. In the junior teams we have As and Bs each team consisting of 16players and the senior age group we have 3 teams. The school is in the Northen “A” league along with other schools such as: Peterhouse Boys, Hellenic Academy, St John’s College along with many more while the girls are still to join a league.
As a College, we are committed to make sure all hockey players develop their skill in a fun and conducive environment enhanced by our permanent staff and external coaches. All hockey players are expected to attend all training sessions and all given a chance to showcase their talent against other school and to exhibit the highest level of sportsmanship and integrity. Over the years, the College has proudly produced hockey players who have proudly represented Mashonaland Province and Zimbabwe at national level. In support is the Hockey Parents Committee to drive our development programs and hosting of the St George’s College annual event the Hockey 5s tournament
