Our Jesuit Ethos flows from the twofold commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ which stresses the love of God and love of one’s neighbour.
For an all-round development of a child, the St George's College curriculum includes sports. A sufficient amount of school time is devoted to sports.
We offer a diverse cultural programme which provides students the opportunity to develop skills needed in a changing world, and to learn the value of doing everything for the Greater Glory of God.

The St George’s Development Office comprises of the following roles and functions: Development and Fundraising, Marketing, Alumni and Communications.
Head of Rugby: Takudzwa Gwariro.
Teams: ‘A’ & ‘B’ for U14, U15, U16. 4ths, 3rds, 2nds and 1sts (Dragons).
Rugby is played in the 2nd Term and is one of the biggest sports at the College. All fixtures held are always eagerly anticipated, pulling large and diverse crowds from all walks of life. While on the field, success is a priority – the values of: commitment, passion, player development and pride in the school, are at the forefront of our rugby programme. It is our aim to produce a safe learning environment for all players, staff, coaches and all involved to enjoy the game of Rugby.
The College regularly produces provincial and national players at U14, U17 and U19 level, as a testament to the quality of individual players and teams produced whilst at the College.
